Abstract

This part looks at the characteristics of national markets, starting with a general review giving some statistics and a scheme for further appraisal. The rest (chapters 5.2 to 5.12) is split up into suitable regions and covers the main details needed by those seeking information on the countries. Most chapters contain suggestions for more detailed information which can also be found in part 8. National policies are also affected by those of regional treaty organisations examined in part 7.
