Abstract

Wrongful death and personal injury losses occur in all 50 states, as well as in the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Yet each jurisdiction has its own history of statute and legal interpretation relating to calculation of those losses. In this chapter, we examine similarities and differences among the states regarding those calculations.
