Abstract

There is a growing interest in spirituality as people seek to find a sense of meaning and purpose in their lives through their work and in their workplace. An indication of this emphasis is the growing number of titles that have appeared over the last 20 years, including Spirit at Work (Conger, 1994) and more recently Soul at Work: Spiritual Leadership in Organizations (Benefiel, 2005a) and Leading with Soul (Bolman & Deal, 2011).
