Abstract

My assignment is to talk about the economic situation of the United States. I will do so in a global context because, as we know, we live in a globalized world where most economies are highly interdependent. So I will also have to deal to some extent with the rest of the world. I will start by presenting a brief overview of the global financial crisis and then look at the United States. Specifically, I will examine the reasons the United States is not growing as much as expected and needs to and about the prospects for the future.
