Abstract

This chapter analyzes the development of the occupations in the Greek economy under three scenarios—basic, optimistic, and pessimistic—according to the methodology discussed in chapter 9. Each scenario has different estimated evolutions in gross domestic product (GDP) and its components, that is, consumption, exports, and investments. Hence, this chapter presents a separate analysis on each scenario, focusing on the evolution of employment and the occupations and also examining the sectoral level. At the end of the chapter, the results that emerge are comparatively analyzed.
