Supplier Credit Cover in Complex Transactions

Abstract

As explained in Chapter 5, a supplier credit contract is a commercial contract where an exporter supplies goods or services to a foreign buyer on credit terms. In contracts for export of goods the exporter is usually a company incorporated in the country where the goods are manufactured, while in contracts for export of services the exporter is a company that performs its services either in the foreign buyer’s country, a third country or the country of its incorporation.
