In: Poverty and Exclusion of Minorities in China and India

Abstract

In Chapter 3, we discussed the incidence of rural and urban poverty among Chinese and Indian minorities. In this chapter, we extend the analysis to income/consumption inequalities, as well as the lack of access of minorities to such public goods and services as education and health.
