Business, Management Education, and Leadership for the Common Good

Abstract

We have more than half a century of business school history behind us — the first ones formed in the 1930s in the US and France, and they have their origin even further back in time. During this time the world has undergone big changes. In my more than 30 years of active engagement in management development they certainly have developed and gone through changes. However, during this time they have not changed to the extent needed to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century.
