Abstract

In business schools across the country, the question arises of how to integrate the liberal arts into the business curriculum. Every business school has general education requirements that mandate that undergraduate students receive some exposure to things like literature, science, psychology, or history. The question of how to integrate liberal arts into business studies is an important one, especially as employers continually look to hire and promote intelligent and creative employees. Business leaders regularly point out that their new business school hires are missing essential knowledge and abilities, such as communication and critical thinking skills, skills that are often the focus of a liberal arts degree.
