Abstract

Technical innovation, market pressures, dynamic changes in the global business community and the goals of sustainability cannot be separated. They are all factors in the volatile business arena but what they all herald is the need to consider the implications of a more adaptable and integrated business model. Globalization is drawing organizations together but at the same time it is no longer acceptable for any major organization to claim immunity from a supplier’s or a partner’s problem.
