Abstract

Globalization is now a factor in every business, either directly or indirectly. and impacts every community; clearly demand growth must also be affecting the broad spectrum of sustainability issues. It offers both challenge and opportunity but is still feared by many, as the more open markets become the greater the pressure on traditional comfort zones. In every aspect of dealing across national boundaries and, more importantly, integration of developing regions into the business process, there are social and economic impacts to be encountered. Many of these have caused high-profile media exposure for a number of international business names.
