Abstract

The data concerning the China phenomenon reported in the previous chapter clearly explain why enterprises are looking at this market with a growing interest. Notwithstanding its importance, only a few studies have been conducted on IS from China. Various studies have been published in recent years on Chinese economic and political geography issues. Other contributions analyse juridical themes with reference, for example, to Chinese company law and to the opportunities and restraints linked to the realization of foreign direct investments. Nevertheless, only a few works consider the decisive issues linked to the problems related to the management of sourcing activities.
