Abstract

Since the end of Cold War regionalism has developed as a critical phenomenon affecting international politics. Almost all parts of the world have shown a growing interest in the resurgence of regionalism that has produced various regional groupings and a large number of integrative and cooperative programmes within them. Through the implementation of such programmes, both political actors and private actors have sought to draw collective fruits that they could not produce efficiently on the national level in the evolving international and regional environments.
