Abstract

While the Queen has had her head on the country’s coinage for years, it’s taken the rest of us women a while to catch up. Within the traditional male preserve of the world’s money markets, women weren’t even supposed to be seen, never mind heard! The London Stock Exchange didn’t even allow women in until 1973.
