Abstract

There can be few that would argue against the basic concept that, for every action (or inaction) there is a reaction or consequence. This interaction has been the root of much scientific and philosophical research over the centuries. In many cases the impacts have been developed into rules or formulas, but many others remain evident, recognized but unexplained. What we do not understand we often tend to attribute to some force that sits outside our sphere of existence.
