“Letting go means losing”

Abstract

Invisible barrier nine is the fear that you’ll lose something if you let down some of your defense shields. To become more creative, you must be willing to let down your shields and let go of the handrail, the shelter, the group, the comfortable way, and the secure way. The obstacles to creativity are almost always internal. In a person concerned with protecting his or her self, and that’s the case with most people, practically all one’s energy is spent monitoring and deflecting threats to the ego.
