Abstract

This book offers an insight into the world of mentoring from the perspective of a range of different participants. These include the mentors and mentees themselves and also the organisation scheme manager. Other organisational stakeholders, such as line managers, are also represented and all of this is through the experience of actual practitioners. This means that the lessons which can be learned from this book are ones which others have been through for themselves and, more than this, the scheme managers at the heart of the process have had the opportunity, through the Henley Focus Group, to reflect upon their learning with each other. This has resulted in access to a unique collection of material, which is far more than simply inferences from case studies.
