Abstract

The theoretical models expounded in the preceding chapters provide numerous lessons about the macroeconomic effects of financial globalisation. They show that international financial flows accompanying financial globalisation can change current account imbalances, interest rates, exchange rates, national expenditure, output, employment and inflation in host economies.
