Abstract

Understand the characteristics of a bond. Know who issues bonds and the types of bonds issued. Understand the key aspects of bond risk. Understand the yield curve and the influences on its shape and level. Understand why the analysis of bonds, bond markets and the yield curve are fundamental to the management of a pension scheme.
