Abstract

Overview This case study presents one higher education institution’s (HEI’s) ongoing journey over a 10-year timeline, which began, in 2005, with the need to improve health and safety management, and evolved, by 2010, to integrate well-being and the ethos of a “Well University”, based on a holistic settings approach. We present an incomplete journey, moving toward building organizational resilience by 2015, and take readers through the thinking that influenced and shaped the wellbeing direction and some of the subsequent actions that were taken.
