Abstract

Any organizational entity with some strategic autonomy, typically a business unit, has built a set of complex and intricate relationships with its environment over the years. These relationships and exchanges nurture the organizational unit, while the unit also feeds its partners in the environment in return. The partners who are active in this set of relationships constitute the Ecosystem in which the entity lives and tries to prosper.
