Abstract

Creativity is the most critical of all human resources. The childlike ability to see things in a new perspective – to combine disparate elements in a way that makes sense to the creator – is one of the hallmarks of creativity. Highly creative people make unusual associations, although their emphasis may be on the creative process rather than on concrete results. Observation skills, courage, passion, humour and playfulness are necessary ingredients for being able to step into that unknown – perhaps slightly uncomfortable – space.
