Abstract

This chapter presents the conclusions of the research. It begins by looking at the methodological issues and assesses the appropriateness of the research methodology employed. Following the discussion of the methodological issues, the chapter then moves on to look at the significance and relevance of the findings in terms of ‘situating’ intranets/extranets in the overall context of IT in general, and knowledge management in particular. Finally, as this is a relatively new area being subjected to in-depth analysis, some suggestions for further work are presented.
