Abstract

The search for happiness is essential for most individuals in Western societies, as in many others, and the understanding of what makes people content with their lives is of growing importance, as the many studies examining this issue indicate (Diener, 1984, 2000); Klonowicz, 2001; Pavot; 2008; Oishi, Koo & Akimoto, 2008).
