Abstract

Globalization is a broad term with multiple meanings. It must be narrowed to focus on real issues that affect daily lives. The interest here is on the economic causes and consequences of globalization, that is, how it affects economic welfare or the wellbeing of individuals in a country, region and the world. In a broad sense, globalization consists of the effects on the economy of the country in which we live of what happens in other countries.
