Abstract

Our focus in this section has been on using software to facilitate performance-supporting choices, the idea being that employees need information, expert stories, and other people’s input to make better decisions in their jobs. We’ve demonstrated how the principles of cognitive science can guide software design to maximize the value of this software to decision makers.
