Abstract

Investment banking is justifiably regarded as the ultimate ‘people’ business. It is a magnet for highly ambitious, intense individuals with a high degree of self-confidence and commitment to achieve the best both for themselves and their firms. Establishing a culture which channels their efforts into a firm-wide effort is a major challenge, matched only by the leadership needed to sustain and develop that culture.
