National Models as a Tool for Analysing Future Manpower Demand and Supply

Abstract

In trying to analyse future manpower demand and supply one has to begin with models of population trends and economic development. The first can be used to derive manpower supply, the second can provide information about manpower demand. The third important component in this context is the pattern of required education and the possibility of satisfying it by means of an adequate education system.
