Abstract

In this paper I shall not discuss the need for development of new manufacturing industries in non-industrialized or semi-industrialized countries. It seems obvious that in most of these countries industrialization must be one of the main avenues of development, if rapidly growing populations are to find employment and standards of living be raised. In any case, it is a fact that industrialization is an aspiration of most of these countries.
