Abstract

East African Court, women leaders, judicial resilience This chapter narrates the life of a lawyer who joined the judiciary in Uganda and the East African Court of Justice. Tracing the major checkpoints and professional challenges encountered along the way, the chapter demonstrates the power of resilience, being strategic and focused, and how to pursue one’s professional vision with the support of family, and mentors.
