Abstract

En este artículo se estiman la productividad y la función de producción agrícola con datos microeconómicos para el Perú. El método es una aplicación de desarrollos metodológicos recientes en la estimación de funciones de producción con datos de panel (Ghandi, Navarro y Rivers 2013) aplicado a datos de sección cruzada. Encontramos que, si bien la productividad agrícola está positivamente correlacionada con la educación, el efecto sobre la productividad del acceso a infraestructura básica (como acceso a servicios de agua potable, electricidad y carreteras) es sustancialmente mayor.
