El objetivo de Desarrollo sostenible Salud y Bienestar y la participación rural en el Estado

Abstract

En México más del 78% de la población se asienta en localidades urbanas mayores a 2,500 habitantes, de acuerdo con el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (INEGI). Sin embargo, en el Estado de Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave el 38% de la población está establecida en comunidades rurales, muchas de las cuales tienen altos niveles de marginación y pobreza (INEGI, 2020). Debido a la diversidad geográfica del Estado, a los habitantes de las zonas rurales se les dificulta acceder a hospitales en poblaciones urbanas, por lo que son muy importantes los Centros de Salud Rurales de la Secretaría de Salud de Veracruz en donde se brinda la atención a la población en un primer nivel.
