Abstract

Este capítulo tiene como propósito contrastar la evolución reciente del sector financiero mexicano con respecto al de otras naciones. Para el ámbito nacional, el análisis sugiere hacer las adecuaciones necesarias a fin de evitar los desequilibrios y colapsos observados en otros países. En coincidencia con lo que sucede en otras economías, El Banco de México (Banxico) ha logrado el objetivo de la estabilidad de precios, pero persisten áreas de oportunidad para alcanzar finalmente una plena estabilidad finnaciera.
