Abstract

El último boom extractivo, que en buena medida ha sido el motor del crecimiento económico del país, ha traído consigo graves complicaciones de gobernabilidad que se manifiestan en recurrentes problemáticas socioambientales. El rechazo a las políticas mineras del Gobierno central en los territorios con extracción es significativo y agudiza la desafección de las poblaciones locales respecto a las políticas de Estado, lo que nuevamente pone en riesgo el modelo actual de desarrollo. El ensayo de Damonte analiza las deficiencias de estas políticas y abre la discusión sobre los temas centrales que permitan una presencia más efectiva del Estado en territorios con extracción.
