Abstract

The chapter reviews modern theories of justice in a free competitive market. The theories covered pertain to social, economic, distributive, international, environmental, and intergenerational justice. It also discusses equality, justice in the market, and justice for labour and summarises significant theoretical strands and adds an Islamic perspective on each topic.
