Abstract

In this chapter, I take you on a journey based on my personal experience, through the upsides and downsides of using social media in your research. From creating a global support system to self-discovery and improvement, and even forming virtual study partnerships - social media has the potential to transform the way we do research! But I also offer insights on addressing the challenges of maintaining authenticity online, dealing with information overload, and the pressure to be a superhero researcher.
