Abstract

Central to the role of the academic researcher is the publication process. It can be rewarding to publish good quality research, but it’s fair to say that the process can sometimes present problems. This chapter examines a part of the publication process, the peer review. We outline some peculiar experiences that we have had with the peer review process and make some suggestions for researchers (and editors) to take forward.
