In: How to Keep Your Research Project on Track

Abstract

That glaring, perfect white page. Type, type, type. Delete, delete, delete. Nothing feels right, the words just won’t come. Although writer’s block happens to researchers at every stage of their career, it can be particularly distressing to early career researchers facing it for the first time. Through stories of lived experiences of early stage researchers, this chapter explores writer’s block and tools and techniques that have helped to get the words flowing again.
