Research based on a multi-paradigmatic approach

Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to emphasize the advantage of performing financial research with a multi-paradigmatic orientation. This can start with a multi-paradigmatic literature review, as has been done in Chapters 2 and 3. Literature reviews are fundamental to good research and every researcher has to do literature reviews. Researchers inevitably begin their research with a review of the literature on their research question and such reviews are better informed if they are based on a multi-paradigmatic approach.
