Can a strategic management mix help China win the 2050 World Cup?

The strength of China's national football team is quantified using various quantitative models. However, instead of models being based on factual numbers, these are using estimates and approximations – thereby emphasizing tendencies rather than quantified statistics. In order to determine and test the assumptions, surveys have been conducted with categorized respondents from China and from Europe. The outcome was not a clear as to whether China should opt for copying the European football approach or create its own - the responses showed that this depends on the respondent category. Chinese respondents have in common that they do not find it necessary to learn from other leagues, whereas European respondents think they should. In any case, based on China having a higher public spending in the sport sector in comparison with EU, the question remains whether this will lead to a Chinese world cup victory.
