Why not to implement a reservation system for visiting a national park

Abstract

A number of national parks implemented a reservation system in the summer of 2021 to alleviate the overcrowding of the park. In this chapter, an argument is set forth that a reservation system to alleviate overcrowding is inefficient in comparison to an innovating pricing policy to accomplish the same objective.
