Abstract

This chapter discusses the use of technology in agritourism, with a focus on the educational approaches required to train stakeholders with varying technological proficiency. The chapter emphasizes the importance of technology in improving operational efficiency and communication and enabling personalized visitor experiences, and it provides educators with a framework for effectively teaching these technologies. It emphasizes the importance of digital tools, such as mobile-friendly platforms and social media, in transforming agritourism by increasing accessibility and interaction between visitors and providers. Furthermore, it addresses the challenges of varying digital literacy levels among agritourism stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive digital education in fully realizing technology’s potential in agritourism.
