Abstract

This chapter delves into online teaching techniques designed to enhance learners’ evaluation and synthesis skills. It introduces methods such as alternative scenarios, analogies, BookTok, cartoon stories, and dialectical reasoning, aimed at enabling learners to critically assess and creatively apply new knowledge. These techniques encourage active learner engagement, promote diverse viewpoints, and facilitate deeper understanding through the synthesis of new ideas and evaluation of existing ones. The chapter emphasizes the importance of peer interaction and creative thinking in developing original content and unique interpretations. Additionally, it highlights the role of guided reciprocal peer questioning, journal writing, and other methods in fostering critical thinking and collaborative learning. By employing these strategies, educators can create dynamic and interactive online learning environments that stimulate intellectual growth and prepare learners for real-world challenges.
