Build, deconstruct, reconstruct an entrepreneurship tool in a Freirian pedagogical approach

Abstract

This chapter offers a deep analysis of an innovative pedagogical practice which asks the learners to elaborate, working in teams, a methodology and a framework aiming at assessing new venture creation projects. The pedagogical approach involves learners in a different process to their traditional conception of education and strongly encourages them to question and relativize the scope of management and entrepreneurship tools. The analysis of this innovative pedagogical practice highlights close similarities between the pillars on which it is based and Paulo Freire’s theory and principles of education.
