Abstract

Nowadays, the tourism industry faces challenges. On the one hand, is pressure on the environment and the change of tourist needs. On the other hand, people are now more concerned about environmental issues, while the modern's way of life pace and demands increased the need for a better quality of life. Besides, the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic heavily affected both the tourism industry and potential tourists. Having considered all these, the present and future of tourism need to follow the way of Sustainability and to incorporate well-being. Respoguide is an innovative platform that wants to integrate Sustainability and well-being in tourism via an integrated approach. In this context, the development of a mobile application and web platform based on specifically defined sustainability criteria that tourism businesses could comply with can contribute to a complete sustainable experience.
