  • Alexander Elliott

Abstract

In this piece, Alexander Elliott describes his pathway through education. He details some of the difficult and discriminatory experiences he has had with other students, and barriers to receiving support from teachers and school administrators. Some things helped, and Alexander writes about the support from people who understood his needs for support and also saw his strengths and interests. He closes with ideas for improving school for other young people on the autism spectrum.
