How to become an engineer in the ecological crisis?

Abstract

Our generation is the first to massively realize the urgency of the ecological crisis. Yet we are in a complex period of choice. We ask ourselves, how can we incorporate our ecological ambitions into our jobs, what are the levers of action that we possess? At the same time, collective actions and company reactions follow one another in an attempt to answer these questions. This is also the time for us to look back and reflect on the improvements we need to make on the educational path we've had. In addition to teaching ecology in all its aspects, we must immediately step out of a classic teaching scheme to bring about a reflection on the consequences of what we learn. While waiting for this awareness to materialize, we try to get involved in order to work on the immensity of the things to be done.
