Floating charges

Abstract

This chapter covers the security interest known as the floating charge. It provides details of the origins of this form of security before outlining the characteristics and operational features of floating charges, with particular reference to English law The chapter then considers forms of security in EU Member States that may be considered functional equivalents to floating charges.
