Abstract

The concluding chapter of this book presents some of the limitations of ABM. It specifically discusses the comparability problem, accessibility and fruition, black box effects, and predictive abilities. The second part of the chapter is dedicated to ABM in perspective. This is done by highlighting how it connects with qualitative and quantitative data and why ABM is likely to lead to methodological advancements.
