The future of entrepreneurial intention research

Abstract

In this chapter fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis is advocated as a necessary addition to the toolkit of the entrepreneurship researcher, since it provides additional interesting information about individual entrepreneurial behaviour that remains hidden after correlation analysis has provided sample-wide central tendencies. Using fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis to investigate the asymmetries and interdependencies within sample data, future research will generate an empirical foundation for new theory building in the entrepreneurship domain.
